My name is Linda
and I was blessed to be the Mother of a U.S. Marine and the Wife of a Veteran U.S. Army Soldier. My
son died in 1995 leaving behind a eleven month old son and young wife. The son is now sixteen and getting ready to start
looking for colleges. What I have discovered through the years is that there was no support of this young family that
had given its all to our country. She was left on her own to coupe with her loss and to raise her child; of course she
has loving family members and friends but no from the millitary family to talk to that she can identify with. She was
lucky because of her close family, but what about all those that do not have close families or maybe no family at all what
happens to them and their children? That is where this non profit comes in inspired by my son and supported by
my husband who passed three days after we started this project.
When I sat down to name my web site, it was not difficult to come up with the name because
my son died in 1995 and became my angel. So the name of my web site is ANGELSON
Network.
